Where does the time go? It only seems 5 minutes since the
start of the 2010 season! Turkey keeps climbing the tourist
charts with it now sitting in 7th place overall, that's some
achievement.
The start of the season is being taken up by the national
elections, so expect lots and lots of dolmus buses carting
loudspeakers, banners and music from the weird to the
wonderful!
On the residence visa front it's immensely good news with
a one year residency now £50. The consulates are also
working in the background to get a true reciprocal health
care agreement for Brits whereby it would be free at the
point of consumption, fingers crossed on that one and will
let you know if it comes about.
So many global changes, one wonders what next? Turkey
fortunately is in a good position and seems to be constantly
gaining ground. My advise for any investors out there is
pretty much what it's always been, invest in land. It
certainly seems safer than the banks and the bonus being you
can actually eat off it! Not to get too caught up in current
affairs but land will at least produce food if strapped and
strapped seems to be the predictions.
We've written off costs for advertising your property on
the site, so if you've a holiday let, a FSBO, a swap or long
term let feel free to add it. We understand the economic
climate and where we can we'd like to help. This is one way.
Advertising is simple. Just click on the 'USERS' tab at
the top of the (http://turkeyvilla.co.uk/property) page, register and expect your account to be
active within 24 hours. Initially all users will be given
one listing, those needing more (multiple sections and or
goods) can ask and we'll increase it.
Once your account is activated simply click the USERs
tab, log in, scroll to add listing and select the relevant
category. Editing your profile is also done from here, (ie
changing emails address's telephone numbers etc).
Short and sweet again just to make sure important
information gets out to those that need it. If you have
questions and or comments please use the forums where others
are willing to help.
Happy holidays all. :)
