This is a new venture being brought to you, but by no
means an inexperienced one. Terry and Bernadette have been
holding re-locators hands for a number of years now and have
successfully resettled many people here in Turkey.
We both appreciate the trepidation felt by many and will
do all we can to ease that. A foreign country has many
challenges which at times can seem insurmountable for the
inexperienced. We aim to make our knowledge and skills
available to you so you don't feel like you are floundering.
Our relocation services will include finding the best
removal companies for your needs, help with importing pets
and necessary documentation, we will help you arrange your
visas, tax numbers, bank accounts, insurances, schools where
needed, utility connection, translations, legal advisors
where required and guide you through the process needed to
set up a business, we will also help you through the often
complex matter of purchasing a vehicle. If you the client
require, we will also help with furniture buying.
Because everyone's needs will be different we will take
that into account when determining fees.

Property Locators
Not everyone has the time or ability to source suitable
properties (by this we mean villas, apartments, land, and
commercial premises). It's all well and good viewing
properties online but when you get here you may find they've
either been sold or are something so very different from
what you had in mind. It can be an expensive trip to find
the villa you set your heart on is dripping with damp, has
holes in the roof or needs major structural works.
You may also not feel confident in the barter system so
end up paying over the odds.
We will provide a viewing and reporting service for you.
Photographs will be taken and a report sent to you with an
overview of the area and what amenities are available.
Included will be any site fees and if there are extras for
the likes of communal pool building which you may be liable
for but unaware of. Reports will cost £200 per property. If
a number of properties require reports within the same
vicinity a reduction will be applied.
If you want to go ahead and purchase a property we will
assist in dealings with agents, source legal advisors and
translators and negotiate on your behalf to get you the best
possible price. Our fee for this service will be 15% of the
negotiated discount or 1% of the purchase price, whichever
is the greater.
Before proceeding a non refundable deposit will be taken
and deducted from our final bill.
Long Term Renting
We will source suitable properties for long term renting,
fees for this will be the equivalent of one months rent.
Rentals long term in Turkey are generally 6 or 12 month
contracts with 3 months advance rents. Agents usually take 1
months rental in commissions.
Testimonials
3 years ago my husband and i decided to buy a home
abroad, after looking around the internet we decided on
turkey, having never been there before i did a lot of
research at which time i came across terry and turkeyvilla,
terry offered us sound advice, answered any questions we
had,and even booked our hotel room for us, and once we got
to turkey, picked us up from the hotel, took us around, and
spent a whole day with us even babysitting our 2 1/2 yr old
whilst we were still property searching, i can honestly say
that without terry and turkeyvilla we would not have found
the confidence to buy,we are indebted to her and turkeyvilla,
in 2008 we are moving to turkey we love it so much, and will
certainly be relying on terrys services again. if you are
venturing into the unknown as we were, we could not
recommend terry highly enough. julia, matt and jacob bruno
We were living in Qatar, had been in the Arabian Gulf for
over 20 years, had never been to Turkey before but had seen
a property (that we eventually bought) on the internet. The
agent that we used turned out to be one on the recommended
list of Turkey Villa.
Knowing nothing about Turkey I joined the TV Forum to get
some idea of what it was like to live in Turkey and later
about moving to Turkey.
The information forthcoming was both useful and re-assuring.
This applied particularly to the shipping of household
effects and the associated difficulties that had been faced
by others.
One of the members even went so far as to arrange for
shipping companies to visit the house in the UK (we had by
then left Qatar) and give quotes for shipping freight.
The member also advised that we use a clearing agent in
Turkey, advise them that we wished to import the freight
permanently, give power of attorney to them and specific
actions to take in terms of shipping list together with a
list of what not to bring.
We followed that advice and subsequently avoided the
pitfalls that other people had fallen into including hours
(in some cases days)spent on the dock in Izmir.
Without Turkey Villa we would have struggled in many ways
and now endeavour to pass on tips to other people in a
position similar to that which we were in. Graham
I purchased my property in Cagkent in July of 2006 ,I
already have a property in Calis so i was not new to buying
property in Turkey and as i was buying privately of course i
used a well known solicitor. The proccess which should have
been straight forward took until October last year due in
part to a slow solicitor and a prat of a seller.
I met Bernie in September of 2006 and i wish i had met her
before as it would have saved me a lot of time and worry.
She has excellent contacts with good solicitors a good
friend in the tapu office and great relationship with
officials in the Belediye.(she should have she worked for
them) This is not hearsay as i was with her when she was
battling for our sitesi of which other people are still
trying to take credit for.
I also have been down to the tapu office where she has
gotten tapus for half the price they had been quoted by
their "friends".
This woman is worth her weight in gold. Ron and Sue
This testimonial is in regard to our
move to Turkey and the steps leading up to it.
After many years of holidays it
Turgutreis we decided to investigate the possibility of
moving to Turkey full time. On checking out many sites and
forums regarding living in Turkey we settled on Turkeyvilla
as being the one most relevant to our needs. It proved to be
a fortunate decision as we learned so much from the site,
both positive and negative. This allowed us to balance the
pros and cons of the move and arrive at decision that was
right for us. That decision was to make the move and we now
live for the most of the year in Gumusluk. In the 18 months
since we moved we have grown to appreciate our new life and
have no regrets about our decision.
We both are of the opinion that had we
not spent the time we did on the Turkeyvilla site then we
would have been in no way prepared for the move. This most
likely would have led us into situations we were better
avoiding, in this case to be forewarned is to be forearmed
worked ever so well for us. Robert & Sue Tobin
Delighted to add my piece. You both
have so much experience of all matters relating to Turkey
and the Turkish way of life, that anyone who uses your
services can only benefit. Bernie has not only been a great
friend, but also an honest, straightforward business person
who not only treats everyone with kindness and decency, but
also generosity of time and humour, which believe me,
sometimes is vital. John and Judith
