Antalya is serviced by an international airport. Assuming of course you have time after visiting Kaleici, the Antalya museum, Hadrian's gate, the Kesik minaret, Yivli minaret, towers and mosques!

Districts : Alanya, Kalkan, Kas, Kemer, Manavgat and Side

Alanya

Alanya offers vast beaches excellent for swimming and bathing, historical sites, innumerable cafes and bars making it an ideal holiday location.
If visiting caves is your thing then Alanya has plenty to offer with Dalmatas cave,Kizar cave and Asiklar cave.
You will find a typical Mediterranean climate of wet humid winters and long dry summers with water temperatures of 21 degrees.

Kalkan

Kalkan, a one time fishing village now a resort retains it's charm and beauty. Although only having a small beach swimming is possible via tiny concrete blocks access by ladders.

Kalkan has a small yacht harbour running ferries to the blue cave and the small hidden Kaputas beach.

Kas

Kas (pronounced cash), is a small resort offering much historical interest. The town centre nestles on a rocky waterfront though good beaches can be found nearby. The name Kas means ‘eyebrow’, or ‘something curved’, describing the shape of the town under the backdrop of 500m high cliffs behind.

You can expect to find hot and dry summers in Kas, typical of the Mediterranean region. Winters however the temperature can drop to 10 degrees.

Manavgat

Manavgat was founded on the plain that lies on both sides of the River Manavgat. The city centre is some 2.5 miles from the Mediterranean shores and bordered by the Taurus mountains. The river Manavgat, originating from the mountains,  flows through the town passing over hard conglomerated strata, forming the Manavgat Falls to eventually flow into the Med.

Manavgat also offers natural features such as the Sorgun Forest, Lake Titreyengolk, and many caves revealing fascinating lakes, stalactites and stalagmites.

Side

Side is situated on a peninsular and flanked by two stretches of golden beach. It boasts a 2nd century theatre in the heart of the town along with ancient Roman baths. Mixed in with the old you will find bars, restaurants and plenty of tourist haunts.

Remember, you can find a great deal of information on the forums about the areas from people already living there and holidaymakers.
